There has been a lot of discussion about preparing for 2012 happening around me. All this talk is making me frustrated because I don't understand the preparation. I mean how can you prepare for events that are not even sure will happen, where will they happen, will your efforts keep you safe? On top of these questions I have for the "prepared", what if the events are not bad? What if you are hiding in a cave and miss something rare and good?
I just have a hard time seeing how people can be prepared for the unexpected. Life is still happening now so I am going to enjoy it. If that time comes then I will deal with it then by having a lot of water and canned goods handy in case I survive these theories of events.
However, some of those prepared for catastrophic events may think I am wrong and will be a sitting duck. To each their own.
